THE HISTORY OF MS GULF COAST BIKEFEST

This all started as a idea after attending a few bike rally’s. After Hurricane Katrina, it began to take shape into something more.  When the Ocean Spring/Biloxi Bay Bridge was scheduled to open, and riders were offered to ride across the bridge, what began as a simple 5 minute drive across the bridge became 4600 bikes lined up 4 across to cross the bridge, and a 20 minute drive.  Me and my partners decided it was time to turn fantasy into reality.  So the First Annual Mississippi Coast Bike Fest was born.  After discussing the idea with other riders, we decided the talk was over and the time for action has arrived.  So here we are.
